I'll sleep through the rest of my days...
Gah, after my daily post frenzy I got a cold and felt too crappy to add any more posts considering I was in bed most of the time anyway.
This week I went and bought a domain name all for myself. www.emdotdee.co.uk is all mine for 2 years, can't use it yet as it won't let me re-direct to my blogger so i'm going to have to buy some proper webspace and make a real website or upload my blogger account to a hosted site. Lots of messing that I can't be bothered with yet, will sort that out in a few weeks though probably.
Today I got myself a new motorbike helmet...

Oooh, tis a perty matt black and it has a dark inner visor that will stop me getting blinded by the sun.
....
Meh, just got sidetracked thinking about something stupid that happened today, well, it's been going on for a while and I have no idea why. It's one of the main things that is getting me down really. Instead of actually sorting it out I just have make up an imaginary argument, (like I written about in previous entry) but instead of it being aimed at one person i'm just lashing out at everyone.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
I got to try and get to sleep now, with these stupid little thoughts in my head.
Fun, fun, fun.

Meanwhile, can't we look the other way..?
This post will take me a while to type, i'm eating shortbread, mmmm.
A little while ago I was guided to this website that was concerned about an organisation called 'Truth in Science' because they are trying to encourage schools to teach "Intelligent Design".
Anyway, because I am a concerned adult who is "worried about the children!" I thought I would use the forms to send a letter about it to my MP, Derek Twigg. Today I received a letter from my MP which included a letter from Andrew Adonis, Minister for Schools.
Here is what it said.....
Dear Derek,
Thank you for your letter of 18 October........ (blah blah, we can ignore this first paragraph...)
Mr Dyer refers to the "Truth in Science" resource pack which is about scientific controversy over the origins of life and its diversity. Neither my Department nor QCA have been involved in the development or distribution of this pack to schools.
It is up to schools to decide what teaching resources they need to help them deliver the national curriculum for science effectively. However, Mr Dyer is correct, neither intelligent design no creationism, are recognised scientific theories and they are not included in the national curriculum. The Truth in Science information pack is therefore not a suitable resource for the science curriculum.
The programme of study sets out the legal requirements of the national curriculum. There are two programmes of study currently operating in Key Stage 4 science: pupils in year 11 are following the 2000 programme of study, while year 10 pupils are following the 2006 programme of study.
Both programmes of study include a focus on the nature of sciences as a subject discipline including what constitutes scientific evidence and how this is established by experimentation. Pupils also learn about scientific theories with extensive supporting evidence from established bodies of scientific knowledge, and how evidence can form the basis for further experimentation. The role of the scientific community in evaluating and validating new work is also included, as is the nature of and evidence for evolution.
I should mention that my department has received a range of correspondence about the teaching of creationism and intelligent design in the science curriculum. My officials are currently working with QCA to find a suitable way of communicating to schools that they are not part of the science national curriculum.
Yours ever
Andrew Adonis
......
I'll try an send that to the BHA to see what they think.
......
In other news, i've uploaded my new title/logo and updated the colours. My .media site has the new logo too, I think it looks pretty cool.
Lastly, Casino Royale was ace, I thought that I had lost interest in the Bond thing ages ago but this new version seems to have brought some life back into the franchise. This review is good, I like how they go into very fine details about the films sex/violence/language and then moan about it as if everyones mind is going to be corrupted. Silly.
Right, bed for me soon I think

Somehow, I don't feel the same.
Oooh look at me going daily post crazy.
I've only really posted today because I want to link to this site... NickDanceV.1. Once it loads, (it might take a while) click once on the video and then go nuts with the A to Z keys on your keyboard, it's fantastic, the music is pretty cool too.
Today started off with a nice lie in, then I watched some Saturday Kitchen but my viewing of that was interupted when mum came home with the shopping. Boohoo.
I was in work at 1 o'clock as usual and as soon as I walked into the place my day turned rubbish. I walked into the warehouse to find empty boxes thrown everywhere. I make the effort to flatten all the boxes so it makes less waste, less mess and so it is easier to throw away yet the fat smelly one thinks it's alright to just thrown them about becuase she doesn't think i'll notice and because she doesn't have to throw it all away. Meh.
The rest of the shop was a mess aswell due to people just dropping things on the floor and then leaving them. Oh well, that's what the scabby people of Widnes are like.
I'm also getting fed up of the new girl, she asks what needs doing, I tell her, then she goes, "why don't you do that and i'll do what you where doing?" So when I say, "no, just do what I said", she just starts to argue about how she shouldn't do it because she doesn't like it, then she'll start fluttering her eyes in a, "i'm a girl, can you do all my jobs for me while I stand here trying to look pretty" kind of way. So I just told her to fuck off and I just carried on with my own job.
After work things got considerably better, Me Helen, Jo, Stacy, Scott and Ste went to Damons Restaurant in Speke. We had a good time but it's pretty shameful that they only have 2 vegetarian items on their menu, a Veggie Burger (ooooh! *sarcastic tone*) and a Mushroom Fajita. Luckily I still eat fish so I had a very tasty battered Fillet of Haddock with garlic mash but Jo had to make do with the Veggie Burger. (I don't know if it was any good, I forgot to ask) After the main meal I had a Black Forest Gateau that was very nice.
The bill for 6 of use came to nearly £150, the girls spent more money on cocktails than they did on food so I blame them for the high bill :-)
I got a price list for motorbike lessons tonight..... it costs £110 a day for a lesson on a 500cc bike but I think it would be best for me to go on a 4 1/2 day super course which costs £575. Sounds like a hefty price but I do actually have the money so it's alright.
I would have to take a week off work and make sure that I do my test straight after or it will be a waste of time. I'm probably more worried about the theory test, (I have to do that first) because i'm totally rubbish at all the mock ones that i've done on the internet and i've never tried the hazard perception although I reckon I could pass that quite easily.
I would get the theory test/hazard perception software but they don't make it for MacOSX. Nevermind.
Right, gonna go bed now, got football in the morning.

Trudging along..
I've posted a couple of very cool videos on my .media site that I reccomend you all watch by clicking here.
Think i've got my first photo job although I had to make my brain jump over its random mental hurdles before I could accept it. I have this problem where I really want to do something but when it comes to it I go, "aaaaargh, I actually have to go through with this" and scare myself. It's stupid but I guess the past view years have put me in this state of mind, damnit.
Don't think i've got much to say for today, work was the usual. We got a new christmas tape, having to put up with the same songs repeated every 90 minutes is bad, not as bad as having to put up with the awful smell that radiates from a certain workperson, bleh.
Right, I have to go and force myself to type up an email that I said I was going to do ages ago.

Get a handle of yourself son...
Gah, it's been another long delay before a new post, 10 days infact, it feels like a lot longer.
For the past few weeks I haven't been out of the house other than for work and playing football, so I haven't really got anything to update on.
Ever think you over analyze things too much?
I do. I tend to go over future conversations I would like to have with people I know even though i'm probably not going to have this conversation in real life. I also go through the possibility of having arguments with these people and go through the different scenarios, I would make one person say something stupid about me just so I can have a reason to tell them everything I hate about them, or just tell them how I feel about myself. Ofcourse, this would also never happen in real life.
I also spend stupid amounts of time trying to write/type something up correctly, i'll be on a forum or on here and be typing something, then i'll think of a better way to say it, change it, read it again, and then totally forget what the hell I was going on about in the first place.
Recently when people have come up to me to ask questions i've been totally unable to get my words out right. Someone will say, "Excuse me, can you...." and i'll say "Hello, yes, blah blah dhfbhbdvbbjbjjdfbdfui"
Me = The Crazy
Having this going on in my head is probably better than me going on and on and on and on and on about it when i'm out with people, I have a feeling that no one would really listen anyway and I tend not to like the sound of my own voice.
..........................................
Think i'm done now.
In other news I got a flash of inspiration and started to make myself a new logo, I started off with a general idea and then made some vary slight variations, they are all linked here
I think i've decided on this one..

..and a similar version without the "eee's" on either side of the M and the D.
Right, i've got to go to bed. Hope y'all enjoyed this weird post. Will post again soon.

Once a great place, now a prison...
On Thursday we went to see Sufjan Stevens.

And all I got was this lousy view...

Squashed head.
Nevermind, the gig was still great and I had a good time meeting Craig and his friends again. Before we went into the gig we were being grown up and talking about air travel, the environment and budget airlines. I threw in a point about rich vs poor (As soon as I said it I realised that it was a load of rubbish) and everyone stayed silent. I was hoping to be shot down with a counter arguement so I could recover but the topic changed and I just felt like a fool...haha, no real change there then.
On Saturday we went to Ste K's and I was pleasently suprised to see Mike. I'm sure it's been about a year since we last saw each other (probably not, but it feels like it) so we had a good chat and a bit of a catch up. Hopefully I will be able to meet up with him in Manchester in the next few weeks.
Sunday had me playing football, which I really look forward to now as I can tell I am getting that little bit fitter. This week I came home with more injuries than normal. I nearly got knocked out, I nearly got my fingers broke and I received a couple of scratches on my shins, nice.
In t'other news i've found a cool new website... VideoJug.com, it's basically an instruction site using videos, i'll probably use it for some help coooking (it's already give me some tips on tuna) but today I used it show me how to make a rabbit with a carrot out of balloons... seriously...

I made this!
Unfortunately I couldn't find any white balloons so a blue one had to do, it was very fun to make and the video made it it real easy too.
Anyway, enough of this madness, i'm off to bed.....

We don't make eye contact...
Firstly, this is weird....
Hope you enjoyed that, I keep watching it over and over for that crazy laugh.
-----
Today I went to Liverpool City Centre with my mum (she rarely ventures out of Widnes so I was acting as tour guide) so she could buy tickets for Riverdance and buy some shoes.
We went in to St Johns first because it's some kind of crazy chav shoe capital so while she was looking around I feigned interest in "trainees" and tracksuits so that I didn't look odd in the girly shops. I still looked odd.
I actually managed to buy some new clothes, I got myself some new shoes, trousers, long sleeve top with weird stitching and a belt that was supposed to coordinate with my shoes but doesn't.

We also bought something called a Doorganizer, you hook it over your door handle and use it to store keys and other random stuff.

On the way home we encounted some bad scals on the train, they insisted on asking stupid questions and being intimidating to anyone that sat next to them.

Idiots
If someone had come along and gave them a smack then everyone would have cheered, well, I would have cheered and be hoping that other people do too. If I had a cup of coffee I would have happily thrown it (accidentally) over them before leaving the train.
Lastly, here is the birthday card I got for my now 30 year old brother.

Happy Birthday Johnpaul
Bye d bye
